Reporting a Federal Crime

Federal crimes are very similar to local crimes.  The main difference is the type of crime and whether or not the crime crossed state lines.  This can take many forms too.  Crossing state lines does not necessarily the offender crossed state lines, but could mean a phone was used that crossed state lines, for instance.    According to the official website for the United States Department of Justice, if you experience any of the following crimes or have knowledge of them, follow these guidelines:
