Perry County Sheriff Nick Weems announced that Deputy Michael Stockstill recently graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy.

Sheriff Weems said, "Since moving to Perry County, Michael has dedicated his life to the service, protection, and well-being of the citizens of this great community."

Michael is not only a full time member of the Perry County Sheriff's Office, where he serves as a Patrol Deputy Sheriff, but he is also an active member of the Sheriff's Special Response Team (SWAT), Perry County Rescue Squad, Linden VFD, and Tennessee National Guard 890th Sapper company in Huntingdon.
