In regards to the disappearance of Ms. Zadakaus, I would like to personally thank my investigative team of the Sheriffs Office, Perry County Rescue Squad, THP Aviation, Search and Rescue teams, k-9 handlers from Williamson County, K-9 Robin Moore, volunteers, neighbors, Perry County Mayor, Linden and Lobelville Mayors for their continued support.
It has been a long 6 days and you all have showed nothing but dedication to Perry County.
The PCSO investigative team is continuing to move forward each day and search teams by boat will start again in the morning. A grid search of land will be conducted, once the flood waters recede.
I really appreciate all those who have volunteered their services and time. In the near future, we may call on volunteers for assistance to help search both water and land. Watch for future post on this. Please continue to pray for the Zadakaus family and all involved in the search for her.
PCSO Sheriff Nick Weems
