BREAKING- OFFICER INJURED IN CHASE: Perry County authorities are in pursuit of a driver that reportedly struck a patrol car and injured an officer. We are told the chase has now entered Hickman county. WOPC will let you know when authorities release more information about the driver. The chase took authorities near Lobelville and north on Highway 13.
8:30 Update: Sheriff Weems says 1 female is in custody. Authorities are searching for a male suspect off Exit 148 in Hickman County. Sheriff Weems says Deputy Jonathan Kelly was dragged by the vehicle for dozens of feet and may have broken bones.
