It is truly an honor to be Sheriff of such a great community, especially in the event of missing persons and natural disasters. Time after time, when our county has been faced with such incidents, I have always been amazed of the outpouring of support, to help me and my staff carry the burden.

From my deputies to dispatchers, to Rescue Squad members, Turney Center K-9s, local K9s, fire depts, THP, DEA and civilians, I’m always impressed.

If I didn’t get to thank you personally on the scene today, Thank you all for showing up and showing out, for the search of the missing 9 yr old girl today. She was found safe approx 2.5 miles from home in the woods and reunited with family.

Our community stands tall today!
