Day 11: Disappearance of Zadakaus

Today, EMA Director Gary Rogers dialed in for a regional call out for volunteers in the search for Ms. Zadakaus.

The call was answered by our very own local Rescue Squad and volunteer Fire Dept members along with, Paris/Henry Co Rescue Squad, Decatur Co Rescue Squad, Chester Co. Rescue Squad, Carrol County Rescue Squad, Henderson Co Rescue Squad, TN City Fire and Rescue, Fayette Co Rescue Squad and West TN Rescue Squad.

To say that I’m overwhelmed at the amount of support that showed up on a Sunday morning, would be an understatement.

These men and women showed up at 8am, knowing there would be zero compensation for their time and efforts, to assist us in the search for a lady they don’t even know. That is powerful.

I want to personally THANK each agency and every individual for your dedication, when duty calls.

I’m now confident, that that the areas in question of Ms. Zadakaus’s whereabouts have been cleared.

At this point, we plan to continue to monitor the waters over the next few days, while continuing on with our investigation.
